Occupying almost 50 acres of land, the Lee Richardson Zoo has more than 400 animals on display for visitors to watch and learn about. Animals come from five continents, ranging from Siberian tigers and African elephants to local river otters and swift foxes. Visitors can walk through the zoo on foot or take a slow drive through the grounds that passes near many of the exhibits. The zoo is located in the 110-acre Finnup Park, which resides on the southern edge of Garden City.
Open daily, Apr - Aug: 8:00 a.m. - 6:30 p.m.; Sep - Mar: 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.
Individuals walking are free; Individuals driving $3 per vehicle.
